Airy P611 Handheld Particle Counter Power-On Check

Today we carried out a basic power-on and display check on an Airy Technology P611 handheld laser particle counter.

The instrument powered on successfully, and its color display, operating menu and six particle-size channels were visible. The unit is housed in a fitted carrying case and includes the accessories shown in the photos and video.

The P611 is designed for airborne-particle measurement in applications such as cleanroom monitoring, indoor-air-quality investigation and general contamination control. Manufacturer specifications list a 0.1 CFM (2.83 L/min) flow rate and a measurement range covering particle sizes from 0.3 to 10.0 µm.

This was a basic observational check rather than a calibration procedure. The calibration label currently attached to the instrument is expired, so the unit should be recalibrated before it is used for regulated testing, certification work or other measurement-critical applications.

What we confirmed during this check:

• The instrument powers on
• The color display is operating
• The menu and measurement screen are accessible
• Six particle-size channels are displayed
• The fitted case and pictured accessories are present
