A 16-cell LiFePO4 configuration is commonly used to build a nominal 51.2V battery bank. Based on the rated cell capacity, sixteen 314Ah cells connected in series would represent approximately 16.1 kWh of nominal energy. The final usable capacity, however, depends on the complete system design, BMS settings, operating voltage range and other installation factors.

Before this order left our Windsor facility, we checked the resting voltage of each individual cell. We also inspected the cell cases, terminals and visible condition.
These checks can help identify obvious issues before delivery, but they should not be confused with a full capacity test. The work shown here did not include a complete charge-and-discharge cycle or a laboratory cell-matching report.
The order also included several components required during battery assembly:
- Electrical insulation sheets for separation and additional protection
- Fiberglass-reinforced tape to help secure the cells during assembly
- Terminal hardware and protective terminal covers

The correct method of arranging, insulating and securing LiFePO4 cells depends on the battery enclosure and system design. A suitable battery-management system, correctly sized conductors, overcurrent protection and proper installation procedures are still required.
After the voltage and visual checks were completed, the protective terminal covers were replaced. The cells and accessories were returned to their packaging and divided among four cartons for more manageable local handling and delivery.
Panda Batteries is based in Windsor, Ontario, close to the Detroit–Windsor manufacturing region. We work with customers across the United States and Canada who are sourcing LiFePO4 battery cells, BMS units, battery components and products for solar, backup-power and energy-storage projects.
As a smaller independent supplier, we can communicate directly with customers about quantities, dimensions, accessories and application requirements. If a standard online listing does not answer your question, you can contact us with the cell size, quantity and intended use.
